Speakers have a fun (and slightly tricky!) task of presenting a piece of work they're proud of in just three minutes each. It's a wonderful way to build your connections around the industry, be paired with an experienced professional to support you on your presentation and most importantly, to show the rest of the industry what People Like Us are made of.

People Like Us events are open to absolutely all, though speaker slots are specifically for PR, creative, marketing, social and journalism professionals from Black, Asian, Mixed Race and other minority ethnic backgrounds. Please confirm this describes you: Yes, No

Tell us a little about yourself (up to 150 words max).

We ask speakers to present a piece of work they’re proud of (in just three minutes each!). In under 100 words, what would you like to talk to us about (don’t worry, this isn’t set in stone and can be changed later). Please note this does not have to be a D+I campaign. Tell us about your wild PR stunts, banging influencer campaigns, an investigative journalism piece that had many twists and turns.

We like to pair up each of our speakers with a mentor, someone experienced in the industry that can support on your presentation and also as a sounding board going forward. What type of individual would you find helpful? This can be broad or specific as you like - we’ll match you up closely to your interest points as we can.
